#LovingtheLocal Thursday Events

THURSDAY

We’re still one day away from the weekend but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the city! Thursday in Chattanooga has lots to offer this week!

Hunter Museum of American Arts is hosting the River City Sessions and The Spirits of the Forrest. Enjoy original stories, music and an exploration of the art of Bessie Harvey in a presentation by Michael Gray of River City Sessions, along with naturalist Holli Richey and musician Robin Burke. Event starts at 6 pm tonight!

The Tivoli is hosting Dvorak Symphony No. 7. Enjoy the evening with a more gloomy and somber yet dramatic piece than some of his other symphonies. Event starts at 7:30 pm tonight!

Comedy Catch at the Choo Choo and Backstage Bar will have you laughing with Jay Chris Newberg! Jay Chris Newberg spent the majority of his life on or off stage honing his craft as a comic, musician and writer. Starting out as a bar musician in Detroit, Michigan and studying improvisation at The famed Second City, Newberg has evolved into a humorous live performer who fuses music, melody and hook. Check him out tonight starting at 7:30 pm!

JJ’s Bohemia is hosting The Power Triplets if you’re looking for music to enjoy! They’ll be debuting material from their new album, but the translation will be an organic experience. Their collaboration on stage has been called “a force of nature,” as this will not be a staid performance. Event starts at 9 pm tonight!

Get out and enjoy your city! The sun is shining and we’re step closer to the weekend!
